Google Maps Navigation is an internet-connected GPS navigation system with voice guidance. It is part of Google Maps for mobile and is available for phones with Android 1.6 and higher. Google Maps Navigation uses your phone's internet connection to give you the latest maps and business data.

This morning I checked if there were any updates for the software on my G1 and lo and behold there was a google maps update. I added the update and now I have the feature to navigate now on my G1. Nav4all is great but I appreciate google's apps and services.

For a while we G1 users believed that we were not receiving this update but I'm so glade we did. I woke up this morning and I went to the settings section of my phone and voila -  the update was there for me to download:
